Hi everyone, I have a DVB-T USB dongle that isn't working. Windows 10 64-bit has detected it as a Realtek 2832U device, and installed the Microsoft 64.1.304.2009 driver. The broad consensus in the community is that this driver is broken. However an automatic search won't install anything else. I'm trying to install newer drivers, but from a number of sources I get the following error message in device manager: The folder you specified doesn't contain a compatible software driver for your device. If the folder contains a driver make sure it is designed to work with Windows for x64-based systems. I've had a look at the filenames, and they seem to be correct ie they really are a newer version of the correct driver.

I've done some more research, and there is another thread about the: I've successfully managed to get the most recent driver installed. I just had to disconnect my internet connection, uninstall and delete the broken drivers, and then scan for new hardware. This time, I got the result in the image below. Now I could right-click the Bulk-In, Interface USB device and install the latest driver from the list.
